+ Why is Free English Class free?

Our church has missionaries from all around the world who travel to Brisbane and serve for two years teaching others about Jesus Christ. One of the teachings of Jesus Christ is to serve others. As part of this service our missionaries offer a free English class.

+ Is there an age restriction?

Our English class is available to all ages: adult, youth, child and seniors.

+ What should I bring to English class?

A note pad and pencil are always helpful. We also encourage you to bring a question. If you have any assignments or essays that you need help with, feel free to bring them along!

+ What do you teach at English class?

We practise intermediate pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary skills. The lessons are finished off with a game to apply what you have learned.

+ Is there English class on any other days?

Currently we only offer our free English class on Tuesdays and Thursdays. However, you can also call us and set an appointment with us that more closely fits your needs.

+ Do you close on holidays?

We run our classes over the holidays too.

+ Can I bring a friend?

Yes! Everyone is welcome!

+ Do I need to sign up?

There is no need to sign up, all you need to do is show up.

+ How many people usually attend English Class?

The numbers vary depending on the time of year. There are 4-6 native instructors keeping the student to instructor ratio low, allowing you to get the tutoring time you need.

+ What nationalities attend English Class?

The most common nationalities we find are: Chinese, Taiwanese, Colombian, Brazilian, Japanese & Korean.
